Moundridge builds community with its annual Black Kettle Festival, which was held June 5-6. The community event featured a variety of activities over the course of the two days, including a community dinner, craft and food vendors, a barbecue cook-off, a parade, a cornhole tournament and more.
Part of the event also included the 22nd Annual Black Kettle Festival Car Show. Speciality award winners included the following:
- Best of Show: Chris Ballinger, 1967 Ford Shelby GT500
- Best Paint: Randy Williams, 1956 Chevy Nomad
- Best Interior: Lloyd Wood, 2017 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport
- Best Engine: Chris Wallace, 1970 Oldsmobile 442
- Best Other: Ron Sundquist, 1951 MG TD
- Best Ford: Jim Rogers, 1957 Ford Thunderbird
- Best GM: Stan Shulz, 1968 Chevy Camaro SS
- Best Mopar/Dodge: Leon Guhr, 1968 Plymouth Road Runner Tribute
- Best 2010 and Newer: Duane Guyer, 2024 Chevy Corvette
- Best Big Rig: Rob and Laura Schmidt, 2026 Peterbilt 589
- Best Motorcycle: Nate Martens, 1996 Harley Davidson Softail
