High winds cause localized damage July 4

High winds blew down a streetlight and stop sign July 4 at the intersection of Christian Avenue and Wollman Street. City crews installed a temporary stop sign until complete repairs could be made. A large tree near Black Kettle Park was also knocked down, and numerous tree limbs fell around town.
