All Moundridge Recreation Commission baseball, softball and T-ball games scheduled for today have been canceled.
This is due to inclement weather.
Rec Director Jeremy Moore said the fields are too wet to play on, thanks to the recent and ongoing rainfall in Moundridge.
At the time of this writing, he also said the neighboring towns of Canton and Halstead have also canceled their rec league games.
According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance of rain every day through Monday.
Friday through Sunday afternoons could see thunderstorms in the area. These storms could “bring hail and damaging winds,” according to AccuWeather.
If and when the games will be rescheduled has yet to be determined.
